“The word ‘love’ is most often defined as a noun, yet we would all love better if we used it as a verb.”

Love isn’t just a noun - it’s a conscious choice; a living breathing practice that requires your care and presence, like anything else that matters to you. Of course, your relationship needs and deserves tending! How much time, energy and money do we invest in our kids, pets, homes, cars, hobbies, jobs, and everything else? After all of that, it’s no surprise that sometimes we find there is little left in the tank for this sacred partnership.
Well, don’t fret, because you are invited to life-giving day of honoring your relationship. No distractions. Just you and your beloved in a serene setting, delicious food, enjoying a wondrous yet substantive day together— with space to tend, mend and delight in your relationship. Together, you’ll engage in practices like embodied listening, yoga, relational mindfulness, playful experiential activities, and relational games that foster connection, intimacy, greater communication and mutual understanding.

This is not a crisis intervention retreat, but a space for couples who know that relationships, even strong ones, need care. Whether you’re navigating patterns that feel a stuck or simply want to nourish what’s already working, this beautifully curated day offers time, space, and tools to fortify your bond.
You’ll be treated to a beautiful farm-to-table lunch with other couples. The group is small—just five couples—so there’s room for depth, comfort, and real attention. For those who are curious: No, there will NOT be sexual practices on this retreat. However, the practices you’ll do together tend to result in greater intimacy (emotional and physical) in your day to day life. In addition to your full day together, you’ll be sent home with tools to continue deepening the bond.
When: Sunday, May 17 from 10am to 5pm
Where: a private, beautiful location in Santa Cruz, California. (Address will be given upon registration.)
