Mimosa is a family run retreat centre in Greece situated on Lefkada Island. Set among beautiful lush foliage and ancient olive trees, their villas are nestled discreetly against the mountainside boasting stunning ocean views. OPTIONAL :: Delphi Extension
For those who would like to extend their trip, we are offering a pilgrimage to the sacred site of Delphi, temple of Apollo. The UNESCO world heritage site, the pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, is where the oracle of Apollo spoke, was the site of the omphalos, the 'navel of the world'. Blending harmoniously with the superb landscape and charged with sacred meaning, Delphi in the 6th century B.C. was indeed the religious centre and symbol of unity of the ancient Greek world.
We will explore the magnificent natural setting of Mt. Parnassus, the ancient Delphi Temple of Athena, Temple of Apollo and the seat of the Oracle of Delphi.
We will be staying in the mountain village of Delphi, overlooking the beautiful shimmering bay of Itea amidst the oldest virgin olive grove in all of Greece.
LOGISTICS
We will travel together the morning of July 3rd from the retreat centre, on a scenic drive (approximately 4 hours) to the mythical lands of Delphi. We will two days to visit the sacred sites, museum, and receive some other magical surprises.
We will provide transportation for you back to Athens (approximately 2.5 hours), arriving by 5pm on July 6th. Please see airport options in the FAQ below.

Sunday, June 29th through Thursday, July 3rd. If you are joining us for the Delphi extension, we will end the evening of July 6th.

You will fly into PVK airport - Aktion Airport serving Preveza and Lefkada, Greece. Book your flight to arrive on Sunday, June 9th, ideally before 5:15pm, to receive a complimentary ride to the retreat center. It’s ok if you book a later flight; we won’t be able to provide transportation, however, we will provide you with contacts for trusted drivers to arrange your pickup at PVK.

If you are departing from the retreat center on July 3rd, you can fly out of PVK anytime, however know that the retreat center has a strict policy for checkout before 10am. Transportation to PVK is not included in the retreat, however we will provide you with contacts for trusted drivers to arrange your timely drop off at PVK.
If you are joining us for the Delphi extension, you will book your flight out of Athens airport - ATH. We will provide transportation to ATH, arriving by 5pm on Sunday, July 6th. You can book a flight out after 6:45pm or choose to stay in Athens overnight, flying out the next day; or stay for extended days and have your own Greek adventure enjoying the museums and shopping in the city.

Each stunning villa includes iconic views of the Ionian Sea, private bathroom, and central living room. All rooms are spacious, luxurious double occupancy and include ensuite bathrooms plus shared central living room.

A genuine experience of fresh, local Mediterranean cuisine. Sunset feasts. Nourishing fresh produce. Delicious! We will send out a form for you to fill out upon registration to learn about your dietary needs, so we can communicate them to the chefs.

Hannah has led over 60 retreats around the world. She not only has trained in everything from restorative, vinyasa, hatha, therapeutic yoga, raja and non dual tantrik meditation and philosophy, pranayama, Ayurveda, women’s shakta traditions and much more - she also has led teacher trainings in these subjects for over 12 years, training incredible facilitators across the US and abroad. She has a particular love for mythology and a talent for storytelling. She has led retreats focused on mythology in Bali and Esalen, and is over the moon to be offering this one in Greece.

If something comes up and you need to cancel, and someone on our waitlist wants to take your spot, we would refund you less $250; however, there is no guarantee that someone would be able to replace you, so therefore we cannot guarantee a refund.
