FUNDRAISER FOR CAMPESINX WOMB CARE PROJECT.
For the upcoming Aquarius full moon, we will be offering a ritual for Lunar Lammas. Lammas is a cross-quarter celebration, honoring the midpoint between summer and fall, that comes from the Celtic wisdom of my ancestors.
During these uncertain times, we are coming together to uplift, support, and behold one another. Let's empower each other into aligned action to create the world we want to live in and pass on to our children.
In alignment with this intention, this full moon circle is free to all, however we ask you to offer what you can because EVERY DONATION YOU MAKE will go to a women-led effort on the ground here in Santa Cruz County supporting women. Now is the time to practice what we preach: praying and ritual is powerful, YES IT IS – BUT WE NEED YOUR ACTIONS TOO! When you sign up here and make a small or large donation, know that you are taking action and making an impact.
Join us for sisterhood, ceremony, and the magic of women coming together in their raw, wild, sensual forms under the moon x stars. Donations will benefit Maria Ramos’ Campesinx Womb Care Project.
“COVID has disproportionally impacted farm workers. Before COVID, farmworker women were already overexposed to chemical pesticides, intense working conditions, and very little healthcare and legal protections. Maria Ramos, an indigenous midwife serving farm worker in the community, created this project to offer hygienic kits made to honor women and their sacred womb space.”
Once you register, you will receive the Zoom link to login. Please login ahead of time, so you can settle into presence as your sisters arrive and our ceremony begins. Prepare for the ritual by:
Wearing festive, ritual or colorful clothing/clothing that makes you feel comfortable, beautiful, powerful — expressing the aliveness of this potent harvest time of year!
Setting up a cozy space in your house (i.e. cushion to sit on; perhaps candles, incense or essential oils; if you have one, a bluetooth speaker to connect to your device for better sound quality – no worries if you don't have this).
Having these items nearby:
a string or ribbon or piece of yarn - at least as long as the circumference of your ankle.
a journal & pen
a piece of bread or handful of any type of grain (oats, barley, etc.)
a piece of fresh fruit (locally harvested + organic, if available)
